SRF-Ft. Lauderdale Meditation Group Announcements

We invite you to join us for a six-hour meditation in honor of Paramahansa Yogananda's birthday on Saturday, January 11th.

Meditation Schedule 

Part 1:  10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Opening prayer, devotional chanting, and periods of meditation 

Intermission:  1:00 PM – 1:30 PM 

Part 2:  1:30 PM – 4:00 PM 

Devotional chanting and periods of meditation

Please bring a fruit as a symbol of your reverence and devotion to the Guru.

General Election of Council Members and Readers is scheduled for Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 12:15 p.m. 

If you are interested and would like to serve God and Guru within our meditation group, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee for more information. A list of  positions and the names of committee members can be found on the credenza in the book room. You may also write down your contact information to be contacted directly.

We are also going back to our in-person Commemorative Service schedule of 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. We will not be live streaming these services in the future.
